At Least Hilter Got Germany Out of Its Depression
Hitler was a monster. He instituted fascist tyranny in Germany. He launched imperial wars against the rest of the world. He was a homicidal maniac.
But at least he got Germany out of its depression.
Bush, Cheney and the boys are instituting fascist tyranny in America, launching imperial wars against the rest of the world, and are torturing, homicidal manics.
Unlike Hitler, they have gotten us into a depression.
Hitler was a monster. Are these guys much better?

Not so much arguing, as just adding some thoughts.
1) By your logic, Hitler also pulled the US out of a Depression. WWII was good for the US too. Some say, we've been riding the wave of victory ever sense. Maybe the new Depression is just a disjointed continuation of the last.
2) I think Bush and Co. are setting up the last few pieces of infrastructure for tyranny that our next Administration will actually use against the people. Beware the next "leader."
Depends whom you count. For the corporate, Bush & Co. is the best government in history. And that today's America ruling class is corporate, there's no doubt. As this article shows, the ruling class does benefit from recession.
I don't agree with praising Hitler in any way shape or form. We don't need Hitler to make a case for any point we're trying to make. It's best to leave his ignominious name out of conversation uness it's absolutely neccesary.
Furthermore, since the new US Depression has just begun and not even really set in just yet, it's premature to point fingers of blame on who failed to get the US out of it. It hasnt even yet begun.
Excuse me? Hitler rebuilt the arms industry for a short while before looting the Treasuries and debasing the currencies of the countries he invaded.
12 years after the beginning of his 1000 year empire Germany (and wide parts of Europe) were totally wrecked.
Sorry, I cannot see a pun here.
