DUCT TAPE EVERYONE'S MOUTH TO STOP TERRORISM!
The government has discovered that terrorists are using their mouths to promote anti-American sentiments. (People are questioning the government, so they must be terrorists). The mouth has been determined by patriotic Americans to be a bad, radical and terrorism-encouraging structure. It is bad, bad, bad.
Therefore, everyone's mouth must be covered with a strip of duct tape at least 2 inches long and at least 1 inch wide at all times (other than mealtime).
We must keep all Americans' mouths closed to protect America, land of freedom! Do it for the sake of liberty! Do it to protect our cherished free speech which terrorists hate so much!
Ridiculous? Of course it is. If someone promotes or incites criminal activity, that individual can be arrested.
But trying to "fight" or shut down the entire internet to "protect" our country is like trying to duct tape everyone's mouth shut because a few people say bad things.

The implication is of course that like the hapless fictional cartoon character Elmer J. Fudd, in the Warner Bros Bugs Bunny cartoons, the 9/11 Truth movement is nothing other than a crazy bunch of “Looney Tunes”, but in reality, are they?
Members of the 9/11 truth movement, have become accustomed to having all kinds of insults thrown at them from a variety of sources. “Twoofers", "Space Kadets", "Wacko’s", "Nutjobs” to name but a few, and of course the now completely worn out “Wacky Conspiracy theorist” put down, which has however, had good mileage. I might add that some time ago I was referred to by another blogger as a “Moonbat” which has become my own personal favorite.
These terms have one thing in common. They are all euphemistic expressions for being “crazy”. For being of such unsound mind, that rational, meaningful debate with anyone is impossible. The suggestion is of course that because the truthers are crazy, there is no point listening to their argument, and so their seemingly insane ranting can be simply dismissed.
But are the truthers really crazy? Is what they are saying so ridiculous that it is not worthy of meaningful debate, or is this label being attached to them by persons that have much to lose if the substance of what they are saying is ever brought to light?
To answer this question it is necessary to establish if there is any evidence that their claim, primarily that their government has sponsored terrorist attacks against their own citizens, has any historical precedent, because if it has, then surely it is quite absurd in itself, to dismiss it as “Crazy”
Well, through declassified documents we know about operation Northwoods. This was a plan put forward by a senior official in the Kennedy administration to carry out a variety of terrorist attacks against American citizens and blame Cuba as a pretext for invasion. Northwoods was never implemented, Kennedy threw it out, but it is interesting to note that these proposals were being discussed at all, at such a high level within the administration.
We know about the USS Liberty, this story was covered in the movie Terrorstorm by Alex Jones.
It tells of a plot involving the US and Israeli governments to attack an American ship in the eastern Mediterranean. The attack would be blamed on Egypt and used as a pretext for US intervention in the Arab Israeli war should the Israelis have needed it. The US and Israeli governments claim the attack was a “mistake” but numerous survivors and a former Israeli air force pilot insist it was deliberate.
We know there is evidence that other governments have carried out such attacks, for example in Italy in the 1970’s, Nato and the CIA, collaborating with the Italian intelligence services, put operation Gladio into operation. This was a plan which involved planting bombs and killing citizens, including 85 people killed on August 2, 1980 in the bombing of the Bologna train station. The motive was to prevent a left wing government coming to power by blaming the red brigade for the attack. This story is written about by the respected Swiss Historian Daneile Ganser in his book “Nato’s secret armies”
We know about the “Lavon affair” this refers to the scandal over a failed Israeli covert operation in Egypt known as Operation Susannah, in which Egyptian, American and British-owned targets in Egypt were bombed in the summer of 1954. It became known as the Lavon Affair after the Israeli defense minister Pinhas Lavon, who was forced to resign because of the incident.
These examples are probably the best ones but there are also considerable doubts about the accuracy of the official accounts of the following events also:-
The 1985 hijacking of the Italian cruise liner Achilli Lauro.
The 1972 attack on Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics.
The 7/7 London bombings in 2005
The 2004 Madrid train bombing In Spain
The 2002 Bali nightclub bombing in Indonesia.
These events have the same pattern of unexplained phenomena, including evidence of military style planning, and apparent links between the intelligence services of various nations and the those individuals charged with the crimes.
Of course these examples do not constitute any proof of government complicity in the 9/11 attacks. But they do serve to demonstrate that this is a real phenomenon worthy of genuine debate and that the claims that are being put forward have some basis in fact.
To simply dismiss the 9/11 truth movement as “cwazy” is therefore, crazy in itself.

The 9/11 "truth" movement is one of the most intolerant oppressive groups of individuals I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my life. There are a few bright exceptions, but quite frankly most scare me as much as the perpetrators. Then again, I trust a fair number are in league with the perpetrators. Not to say the community is unique in its disdain for the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. They are merely among the most zealous in enforcing their orthodoxy.
Bear in mind that David Irving was a 9/11 Truther in September of 2001. The mere mention of Irving on http://www.phpbbserver.com/stj911/ resulted in demands that I be banned from the forum. Indeed I was banned.
